That perfume contains delicious ingredients goes without saying. But did you know that less pleasant-sounding ingredients are also used to create that unique scent? In De Wereld van Sofie on Radio 1, Anke Van Meer talked to our perfumer Kristof Lefebre about some surprising perfume ingredients.
For instance, the anal glands of the beaver and the civet cat were discussed - ingredients that have been used in perfumery for centuries because of their special fragrance character.
