General terms and conditions of sale

Article 1 - Definitions
In these terms and conditions the following terms shall have the following meanings:


  • Entrepreneur : the natural or legal person who offers products and/or services remotely to consumers;

  • Consumer : the natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur;

  • Distance contract : an agreement whereby, within the framework of a system organised by the entrepreneur for the distance sale of products and/or services, up to and including the conclusion of the agreement, exclusive use is made of one or more techniques for distance communication;

  • Distance communication technology : means that can be used to conclude an agreement without the consumer and the entrepreneur being in the same place at the same time;

  • Reflection period : the period within which the consumer can make use of his right of withdrawal;

  • Right of withdrawal : the possibility for the consumer to cancel the distance contract within the cooling-off period;

  • Day : calendar day;

  • Duration transaction : a distance contract relating to a series of products and/or services, the delivery and/or purchase obligation of which is spread over time;

  • Durable medium : any instrument which enables the consumer or entrepreneur to store information addressed personally to him in a way accessible for future consultation and unaltered reproduction of the stored information.

Article 3 – Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from the entrepreneur and to every distance contract between entrepreneur and consumer.


  1. Availability of the conditions :
    The text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the consumer before the distance contract is concluded. If this is not reasonably possible, the consumer will be informed in good time that the general terms and conditions are available on the entrepreneur's website and that they will be sent free of charge by e-mail or post upon request.

  2. Electronic offer :
    If the distance contract is concluded electronically, the entrepreneur can provide the general terms and conditions electronically in such a way that the consumer can easily store them on a durable data carrier. If this is not possible, the consumer will be informed where the general terms and conditions can be consulted electronically and how they can be obtained free of charge.

  3. Specific conditions :
    If, in addition to these general terms and conditions, specific product or service conditions also apply, the consumer may, in the event of a conflict, invoke the conditions that are most favourable to him.

Article 4 – The offer


  1. Duration and conditions of the offer :
    The offer clearly states whether it has a limited period of validity or whether it is offered subject to conditions.

  2. Information in the offer :
    The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products and/or services offered, so that the consumer can make a well-considered decision.
    The information must at least contain:

Article 5 – The agreement


  1. Formation of the agreement :
    The agreement is concluded at the moment that the consumer has accepted the offer and has fulfilled the conditions set out therein.

  2. Confirmation :
    If the agreement is concluded electronically, the entrepreneur will immediately confirm receipt of acceptance of the offer via an electronic confirmation. The consumer can dissolve the agreement until receipt of acceptance has been confirmed.

  3. Data security :
    The entrepreneur shall take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure the electronic transfer of data and shall ensure a secure web environment.

  4. Refusal of an agreement :
    The entrepreneur may refuse the agreement within legal frameworks if the consumer cannot meet his payment obligations or if other factors prevent a responsible execution of the agreement.

Article 6 – Right of withdrawal upon delivery of products
The consumer has the right to revoke the agreement without giving reasons within 14 calendar days. This period commences on the day after receipt of the product by or on behalf of the consumer. During this period, the consumer must handle the product and packaging with care. In the event of revocation, the product must be returned in its original condition and packaging, if reasonably possible.

Article 7 – Costs in case of revocation
If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, the costs of the return shipment will be at his expense. The entrepreneur will refund the paid amount as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after receipt of the return shipment.

Article 8 – Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal may be excluded in the following cases:


  • For products that are custom made or clearly personal in nature;

  • For products that spoil or age quickly;

  • For sealed products (such as audio and video recordings) where the consumer has broken the seal;

  • For services that have started with the express consent of the consumer before the expiry of the cooling-off period.

Article 9 – The price


  1. Price changes :
    During the period of validity of the offer, the prices of the products and/or services offered will not be increased, except as a result of changes in VAT rates.

  2. Price increases :
    Price increases are only permitted within 3 months after the conclusion of the agreement as a result of legal provisions.

Article 10 – Conformity and warranty
The entrepreneur guarantees that the products and/or services comply with the agreement, the reasonable requirements of soundness and the applicable legislation. The consumer is entitled to the statutory guarantee for hidden defects.

Article 11 – Delivery and execution
The entrepreneur will execute accepted orders with care and deliver within 30 days, unless otherwise agreed. In case of delay, the consumer will receive a message and can cancel the agreement free of charge.

Article 12 – Duration transactions
The consumer may terminate an agreement for an indefinite period with a notice period of up to one month. An agreement for a definite period is entered into for a maximum of two years, and is then converted into an agreement for an indefinite period, unless otherwise agreed.

Article 13 – Payment
The consumer must pay the amounts due within 14 days after delivery. Advance payments may never exceed 50% of the total amount when selling products.

Article 14 – Complaints procedure
The entrepreneur has a complaints procedure and handles complaints within a period of 14 days. In case of longer processing times, the consumer receives a confirmation with an indication of the further processing time.

Article 15 – Handling of complaints and disputes
If a complaint is not resolved satisfactorily, the consumer can submit a complaint via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.

Article 16 – Privacy
The processing of personal data is done in accordance with the applicable legislation on data protection (including the GDPR). Personal data is used exclusively for the execution of the agreement and for customer communication.

These terms and conditions are effective as of December 2024 and replace all previous versions.
