The perfumer's perspective

" This perfume was inspired by a postcard I sent home in 2016. At the time, I was living in Versailles, within walking distance of the imposing castle, and had just started my training at the prestigious ISIPCA perfume school. Despite being 36, I felt like I was twenty again: curious, full of ideals and ready to give it my all. Not only to master the language of scent, but to find that one ingredient that is missing in many perfumes — humanity.


Dearest home front,
The silence is almost palpable as I sit here writing your card under a majestic oak tree. What a beautiful day in the gardens of Versailles! Meanwhile, the sun casts its last warm rays over the castle and the gardens. The air becomes fresher, while the scent of the royal past lingers royally. I wish you could smell it.
