MIGLOT Brise d'été Édition Mer du Nord

" Mer du Nord is perhaps the most personal destination within the Brise d'été collection.

For years, Victor and I travelled across Europe in search of inspiration. Places that would later find their way into fragrances such as Versailles, Deauville, Cap Ferrat, and Stockholm.
Yet along the way, we discovered that some of the most beautiful memories are created surprisingly close to home.
Perhaps that is no coincidence.
When we look back at the destinations that eventually became part of the Brise d'été collection, the sea appears time and again. Stockholm. Deauville. Cap Ferrat. And now, closer to home, the North Sea. As if certain stories are always drawn back to the same horizon.
Over the years, we collected countless memories there with friends and family. Days that began with a refreshing swim or a run along the shoreline and ended with long summer evenings in the dunes. What stayed with us was not one specific place, but a feeling.
The North Sea evokes something different in everyone. For some, it is the warmth of sun-kissed skin at the end of the day. For others, it is the scent of sunscreen that lingers softly long after the sun has disappeared. An ice cream on the promenade. A refreshing swim in the sea. Or the sound of the waves that seems to echo on even after you have returned home.
And sometimes, a little sand resurfaces days later in a coat pocket, a beach bag, or on the floor at home. As if it gently wishes to remind you of a place where you would have gladly stayed a little longer.
Perhaps that is exactly what makes the North Sea so special. Everyone carries home their own memories.
Years later, we sought to capture that feeling in a fragrance through radiant jasmine, elegant iris, warm amber, and precious sandalwood.
A scented memory of the North Sea.
A destination with many faces, yet always the same sense of freedom.
Perhaps Mer du Nord reminds us of something simple: that the most beautiful destinations are not always far away.



Dear Ones at Home,

Today was another one of those days that seemed never to end.
The sun had disappeared some time ago, yet our skin still carried the warmth of the day. We sat shoulder to shoulder with friends in the sand while the sea remained softly audible in the background.
There was conversation, laughter, and now and then simply silence. No one looked at the time. No one was in a hurry.


The scent of sunscreen still lingered somewhere in the air. A salty breeze drifted by. Here and there, grains of sand still clung to our skin and clothes, as if the beach was not quite ready to let us leave.
Tomorrow we return home.
Most likely with a little sand that we will rediscover days later.
And with memories that, hopefully, will linger much longer.
